The Final Countdown

Yes I'm heading to Tanzania to the School of St Jude and there's only 24 sleeps to go! I've had 6 vaccinations (two2 hep B boosters left), bought my ticket, figured out skype and started this blog........... so just about there.

Oops I forgot, I want to learn some basic Swahili (with a little help from my friend)

 I am SO VERY excited about going to this school.

I first heard about Gemma and her school in 2008 when I saw her in an episode of Australian Story. I was so inspired I immediately became a sponsor.

Then, in early 2010, I met Gemma at a breakfast. She was a bundle of enthusiasm and energy and again my passion about this wonderful project was ignited.

Now, the time has come - I can't believe it.
